Piano Tuning
Piano tuning is the art of adjusting the tensions in the strings of the piano so that the instrument is "in tune". Fine piano tuning requires an assessment of the vibration interaction among notes, which is different for every piano, thus in practice requiring slightly different pitches from any theoretical standard. Since U-Plus is working with several Piano stores and independent piano technicians, and piano rebuilders, we can provide you with all-inclusive services from piano moving to tuning. Many piano manufacturers recommend that pianos be tuned twice a year. Usually, new pianos should be tuned 2 to 4 times during the first year.
Piano Repairs
Pianos have a limited lifetime, usually measured in decades. However, different parts have different lifetimes. When a piano ages, its parts become worn out and might demand different repairs. The piano can also be damaged by fire, water, or chemicals. Repairs include repairing the damaged action mechanism, keyed, the pedal system, soundboard cracks, bridges, pin block, case parts, and loose tuning pins.
